Madelief is currently supporting two customers, using our Keylane software LeanApps, to manage their administration. Her work includes investigating customer issues and requests for additional functionality; therefore this can look different from one day to another.
In one recent investigation, a customer could not open a policy. After investigating error messages and database records, she discovered that the policy start date was registered as an earlier date than the customer’s onboarding date in our system.
Investigating issues can sometimes take days alongside other tasks. Talking to a colleague helped her look at the situation with fresh eyes and brought her to testing the data correction and succeeding to open the policy!
With a study background in International Management, Madelief learned a lot about the technical side of working on a Saas platform after joining Keylane. She did so by following trainings from our Academy and with the support of her colleagues.
Some customer questions still contain unfamiliar terminology. When that happens, she asks colleagues to explain it before continuing her investigation.
Support from colleagues can look like morning team check-ins, discussions when they are stuck, and sometimes just working together on the task.
In creation of the episode; we welcomed the podcast maker Ilse Alberts to our office in Utrecht. We showed her around; including all the details that make our office feel like Keylane e.g., puzzles in the coffee corners, team photos and creative sketches by Keylaners which end up on the walls.
For Ilse, the atmosphere stood out early on: different types of people, approachable colleagues and no expectation to dress formally.
