CI/CD Engineer

Key about your role

This role, based in Utrecht, involves contributing to setup, implement and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure. Your responsibilities include co-selecting and integrating new tools, maintaining existing systems, and aiding other departments in maximizing our CI/CD stack. Your contributions directly feed our company-wide goals of setting up fully automated pipelines for environment setups, build processes, releases, quality-gates and other critical operations. Your daily tasks will include fostering close collaboration within the team and with  architects and senior developers from various internal departments ,  to come up with the best possible CICD solutions together. This role provides an environment where your technical and theoretical skills will be consistently challenged. Key about your team

You will be joining a team that’s growing to up to 20 individuals who are mostly based in Utrecht, comprising 12 Technical Application Engineers / System Administrators and currently 5, but moving up to 8, CI/CD Engineers. Our team is responsible for setting up and maintaining the CI/CD infrastructure, selecting and implementing new cutting-edge tools, ensuring existing ones perform optimally, and guiding other departments leveraging our CI/CD stack. • Architectural Insight: An understanding of software architecture, beneficial for system design and problem-solving.
• Collaboration with Architects: Work closely with architects to optimize and reduce dependencies in existing systems. Work together with our architects to guide development teams to reduce the Plexus footprint.
• Java Expertise: Advanced skills in Java programming, focusing on robust and efficient code development.
• High Load & Performance Management: Experience in handling high application loads and resolving performance issues.
• Senior Developer Interaction: Ability to confidently discuss and advise on technical matters with other senior professionals.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex software challenges.
• Database Design and Optimization: Proficiency in database design, management, and optimization for scalable applications.
• Unit Testing and Debugging: Strong skills in unit testing, debugging, and ensuring code quality.
• Microservices Architecture: Understanding and experience in developing microservices-based applications.

Keylane offers

• A monthly gross salary based on the market norm;
