We caught up with Ernst-Jan, Managing Consultant at Keylane, to talk about life at Keylane. He also shares insights into new and exciting developments for Keylane’s Lifetime platform.

My name’s Ernst-Jan Strijker, I’m 51 years young and live with my lovely wife Danielle and son Aidan. I grew up in Veendam, in the province of Groningen.
Today, I live in the beautiful city of Utrecht, although Groningen might still have my heart.
I’ve been employed by Keylane for over 14 years, and am based at the Rotterdam office within the Life & Pension business line. Currently my role is Managing Consultant for our fantastic Lifetime platform.
Working at Keylane is incredibly fun.
My role as Managing Consultant at Keylane Lifetime Platform is especially diverse, so no day is ever same. I really enjoy having close client contact and devising solutions to drive better experiences for our clients. I’m able to work 95% independently without being dependent on developers. This helps me come up with ready-made solutions that grant immediate client benefits.
I really enjoy coaching new colleagues and teaching them the tricks of the trade.
In addition, I like participating in sales processes by giving demos and explaining the Lifetime Platform. In all I do, I really try to make our clients enthusiastic.
My role as Managing Consultant for Keylane’s Lifetime Platform is especially diverse, so no day is ever the same.
First of all, and perhaps most importantly, working at Keylane is incredibly fun. And, within the Lifetime Platform division, we see very challenging projects on the horizon for the coming years. Lifetime will be getting a whole new look and feel, so it’s an exciting time to work for Keylane!
Moreover, the atmosphere among colleagues is extremely positive.
Although we work hard, there is always room for fun. For example, communal lunches offer a pleasant break with excellent food options. Frequent office get-togethers are also a real highlight.
