This year, close to fifty Keylaners signed up for the NN Marathon Rotterdam. During which they went the distance to complete some impressive and inspiring runs. Some even accomplishing new personal best records.
The annual NN Marathon Rotterdam was held on April 12th and 13th. This marathon is not just one the most popular worldwide marathons, but also one of the fastest! Interesting fact – this is because of how flat our land in the Netherlands is.
Additionally, what makes the NN Marathon Rotterdam a special run is also the number of spectators who show up. Their presence uplifts the spirits and supports runners to reach the finish line. Thus, this year was no exception. The atmosphere and support from the crowds went a long way to keeping everyone motivated to cross the finish line.
Of the fifty Keylaners who took part in the NN Marathon Rotterdam; five colleagues ran the full 42km on their own! Moreover, twenty colleagues opted for the duo run. This then entails two runners who complete the marathon as a relay; each running a half marathon. As for the rest of our Keylaners; they teamed up in groups of four and completed roughly a quarter marathon per runner.
Supported by cheering colleagues, friends, and family; all Keylaners united at the end of the race to enjoy snacks and drinks and celebrate their impressive runs!
