KEY ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As our Legal Counsel you will be responsible for the legal support within a growing multinational environment. You advise proactively in the areas of (international) contracting (including negotiations), corporate (governance) matters, dispute resolution, IT commercial law, Procurement, IP rights and Compliance.

In particular, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts (customer, supplier, and other general business)
  • And last but not least, helping to build the legal department and bring it to the next level
  • Conducting corporate housekeeping matters (including corporate restructurings)
  • Working with business groups to create contract templates and contract procedures
  • Managing disputes, legal and privacy projects
  • Ongoing support of the General Counsel


KEY ABOUT YOU
This is a role for a “getting things done lawyer” who likes to switch between thinking and doing. This is a role within a small team managed by Hilde de Boer-Wichers (General Counsel) and therefore you’ll get the opportunity to set the standards.

Prerequisites

  • You have between 6-8 years of relevant experience within a reputable law firm and have experience in drafting and negotiating agreements in an international setting and have experience in handling corporate matters
  • You have a degree at a Dutch law school
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • Eager to analyze complex problems, and translate these into adequate, practicable solutions
  • Excellent in prioritization, astute in your advice, and know how to sell that advice
  • Cooperative and organization sensitive, and level headed
