The Business Development Manager will be based out of our Munich office and will play a key part in driving company growth through the capture of new business from new Non-Life Insurance clients in Germany. This individual will have a strong knowledge of either Non-Life insurance or Financial Services combined with a demonstrable track record in originating and closing complex end to end software and or subscription deals. S/he will have the proven ability to identify and build strong relationships that can support the organization’s objectives, together with a comprehensive understanding of the principle of business development and customer relations for high value programs, including effective development and management of high-level customer relationships, together with a strong ability to support multiple projects and clients concurrently.
Develop new business opportunities, prospecting and winning high profile Non-Life business accounts. Confidently communicate both the technical and financial benefits of Keylane’s software solution. Source leads and oversee the complete sales cycle – from identifying an opportunity to closing, then managing accounts for maximum penetration. Operate at decision maker level, taking ownership for own sales pipeline and performance against targets
Essential Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to build long-term and commercially robust client relationships. She has a track record of achieving significant success in complex sales of SaaS Solutions ideally within the Insurance sector she will have a ”business builder” orientation and leading mind set. Excellent English as well as native German written and verbal communications skills necessary to clearly articulate ideas and strategies with Senior leaderships, colleagues as well as clients and partners. A high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel without restriction. Must be self-motivated and able to operate in certain circumstances with minimal guidance Substantial presence and credibility as a salesperson Bucket-loads of ambition, drive and tenacity Compelling communication and cooperation skills coupled with the gravitas to handle an imperative role The ability to develop in-depth knowledge of a range of technical solutions.
