Keylane’s DevOps Flowmasters bring the heat in all the best possible ways, trying something new by organising a fun-filled event for all Keylaners in the form of the DevOlympics.
DevOlympics: On Your Marks!
Keylane organises many team events, from Expert Talks, Knowledge Sessions and Open Space Events. Now we’ve gone a step further (or two) and created our own DevOlympics event.
Mixing it up
Our DevOps teams and managers were mixed into various groups, creating nine teams of four people in each. Now ready to tackle the DevOlympics assault course, the fun and games began!
With ball in hand, the goal of the DevOlympics assault course was to make it to the end and throw a ball into a basket, then sprint back. Once the last competitor crossed the finish the line, the timer was stopped.
Keylaner’s Unleashed
It would be an understatement to say the DevOps teams went for it, but they really, really went for it! Powering down the course like true olympians, they were in it to win it and it showed.
The air was electric, and the sweat was flying; and one or two bandaids had to be applied here and there. But after two heart-pounding rounds with all teams competing against each other in this friendly match-up, it was time to face the DevOlympics finals and determine our winners.
Everyone’s a winner at Keylane’s DevOlympics
After such an exhausting fun-filled day, celebrations were in order. A good ole’ BBQ with drinks was had, with both meat and vegetarian dishes served to satisfy all taste spuds.
